The usual two stations in Dallas are not showing the game tonight...I guess due to the Series. If you want pictures, I'm going, though my seats are shitty.

on direct tv.... channel 97 says "upcoming: spurs @ mavericks" so they might show the game on that channel.... but either way its a weird channel to have the game on.... maybe they are showin it in highdef or somethin... that would be tight

Are you sure that's on Directv? All I see is MLB Baseball on a channel 88. But it doesn't show anything. I think it's for digital subscribers.

Remember, the Mavs' high def schedule is subject to change.

So he's saying the game will only be shown to those in Texas and NOT in the Houston or San Antonio viewing area. ALTHOUGH, there's a blurb about the game being a freeview on DirectV's website, but it does say subject to blackout.

If I had to guess, I would say the game will be blacked out to SA DirecTV viewers. But it's worth taking a peek to make sure.

There should be quite a few Spurs games in HD here in San Antonio this year. They are shown by FoxSportsNet HD and are on channel 150 for TWC HD subscribers. Seems like they had about 6 or 8 games on last year. Maybe more, I don't remember for sure.

Remember that Cuban made one of the earliest Internet $B's by selling broadcast.com.

It wouldn't be surprising if the Mavs had some special high-tech connections and projects.

The Spurs high tech angle ..... KRRT !! :))

Right now channel 97 has a PPV symbol in the upper right hand corner on the guide for the game. Does that mean it's actual PPV? Or since I have the HD package, I'll get the game?

Yeah you'll get the game if it has the $ sign...and also if you have the HD package. All NBA pre-season games that are televised via Directv are shown for free up until the end of the first week of the season.

Directv says it's blacked out in San Antonio :wtf Two hours ago I called them and they said I'd have it for sure.

The only channel I see having it is 97...but like you guys already know it's HD only. Being that it's in Dallas I can't see why it would be blacked out here...

Kori Ellis

We have HD. We have channel 97. But it's not on.

I guess we should have read this more carefully.

I figured since I called and I held for 15 minutes while they checked earlier today, that when they said it would be on - it would be on.

Clueless CSR's. Takes a long time for the correct information to get to Pakistan.

I don't trust them at all now. First the Yankee game, now this. I kept repeating, are you SURE it's going to be on for me? She even went to check with the supervisor and they assured me, yes. :(

Probably not. I know it's on local TV in Houston ... so maybe they'll put it on NBATV or something.

NBA TV isn't showing the Spurs game. The only two that are on the schedule for tonight on Directv is the Pistons/Celtics and of course...Bulls/Pacers.

They're showing the Lakers/Wizards on a webcast. :fro
