CBC SPORTS ONLINE - The Utah Jazz declined to match Milwaukee's offer sheet to restricted free agent Mo Williams on Saturday, meaning the sophomore NBA guard will become a member of the Bucks.
Williams, 21, signed Aug. 6 with Milwaukee.
"We're excited to have him join our team and on Monday, we'll bring him to Milwaukee to finalize his contract," Bucks general manager Larry Harris said.
Williams averaged 5.0 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 13.5 minutes in 57 appearances off the bench for Utah last season , his first in the NBA.
"Mo is a talented, young player who we targeted early on in free agency," Harris said. "He's athletic, defends well and gives us added depth at the point guard position."
Williams was drafted in the second round – 47th overall – by the Jazz in 2003.
