Go for it on 4th down and get in to better fg range or even make a td.

It was the right call.

It was the right call.
There was no way he was goin to make a 48 yrd fg, I would of tried to get into better fg range or try for a td.

And possibly not even HAVE a chance to win the game with a FG if you get stopped?

Right.

Yes it is makeable but John Hall sucks

7 of 16 career from 50+ yards and this was closer, but you're right there was no chance.

And the kick wasn't short, it was wide.

Hall needed to angle better, not extra yards up front.

Well there is that! :)

So, with 17 seconds left, you go for it. Presumably, that means that you throw the ball, because if you try to run it, you might not ever get the chance to kick the FG and even if you do, you won't be much closer than the 48 yards out that you were. I don't see how anyone (except someone claiming the perfect view of hindsight) can question that decision.

Gibbs is a hall of famer for good reason. It was the right call.

Yes it is makeable but John Hall sucks No NFL coach is passing on that chance.

Fuck, I benched Portis this week thinking he wouldn't play because he was questionable.
