If Malik has a broken hand, the Spurs will be in trouble. Horry and Mass as the backup bigs?! Please, don't be broken!

I thought Malik was really trying to prove that he turned the page yesterday!

Malik gets under my skin a lot but he's one tough SOB. Hopefully he's alright.

If the Spurs had a physical starting center this wouldn't be a potentially mortal problem.

Marcus Bryant

Yeah, only because DRob had chronic injury problems, not a lack of a nutsack.

Trex

He plays for Atlanta.

when will marks be ok to play?

Not for a couple weeks.

I just hope Malik is fine. The backup bigs after Malik aren't going to accomplish anything.

When Will We Know The Results?

Sometime today, probably.

This is going to be a concern for the entire season. If the Spurs lose Rasho, Duncan, or Rose for any significant period of time, Horry, Massenburg, and Marks are going to have to step up and play good basketball. Another proven and capable big man would help. We'll see how much Horry and Massenburg have left in the tank. That's definitely a concern.

Well, we always got Marks to fall back on :(

This pretty much underscores how potentially serious this is:

AHF is concerned that Malik may not be able to play.

I didn't hear the results of the X-rays, but on the news they seemed to think Malik was fine.
