I did it the long way (I slept through the whole quadratic equation thing), but it's a pattern. If you pick 10-19, the answer will always equal 9, 20-29 equals 18, 30-39 equals 27. Watch the screen where you pick your answer, all the multiples of 9 have the same picture.
