Gino came to eat tonight at the Terrace Club- right before the Shakira concert.

He brought Many, whom by the way looked very pretty. :)

It was a complete surprise for me. Usually when there is a VIP in the building someone calls and alerts us. This time an usher just escorted the Ginobili's to us- so no warning.


Confession: I didn't immediately recognize Gino when he came up to my hostess stand. :oops He was wearing a baseball cap and that is what momentarily threw me off.

- Quick hair update: Gino has it a little longish but from what I could tell under the cap, it looked nice.-

Except for the fact that in my excitement I nearly forgot how to spell Ginobili :oops :lol , accomodating Gino and Many was easy as pie.
Of course, I sat them myself. :)

Gino was, as always, super nice and easy going. Many was quiet but pleasant also.

I led the way through the restaurant but let Gino pick his table. Once he had, I gave Gino a menu and that ended our brief, but super fun ( at least for me :lol ) interaction.


Side note: I think Gino remembered me from his fan site and the other times we've talked in person.
I say this because when I said hi, he said, " Oh! Hi!" His tone of voice said that he recognized me.
Or at least that is what I think. At any rate, you guys weren't there so you can't say I'm wrong. :lol

Oh and since I know you are going to ask Manny, my waitress friend said Gino did indeed tip her. :lol

I know two or three nights ago I ran into a website showing some kind of interview with Manu in front of a panel of reporters. Of course I couldn't understand a thing but he looked like he was doing fine. And about the hair it looks medium to me and someone from another site did this pic from the interview.

I do have the best job. Although usually I won't see the Spurs themselves in the restaurants since they have their games and catering downstairs.

thats badass, Manu is the nicest guy. When I got his autograph before a Spurs game, I reached my hand out to him to shake his and told him "thank you and good luck tonight" and he gave me a firm handshake, smiled and told me "thank you sir!" Eversince, he is my favorite Spur.
