Haha! Sorry that's all I knew about the game. I was sleeping on and off (I'm sick) and listening to it on the radio. I think Duncan had 18 and Wilks had 8. Rasho hurt Yao in the first quarter but he came back later.

LAREDO, Texas (Ticker) -- Tracy McGrady's missed 3-pointer at the buzzer was emblematic of the Houston Rockets' night.

The Rockets shot just 36 percent en route to a 79-69 preseason setback to the intrastate rival San Antonio Spurs.

McGrady had 15 points and eight rebounds but made just 6-of-23 shots for Houston, which connected on just 29-of-80 attempts.

Tim Duncan collected 15 points and nine rebounds to pace the Spurs, who improved to 3-3 in preseason play.

Houston, which slipped to 3-3, did itself no favors with 18 turnovers, which San Antonio converted into 21 points.

Rockets center Yao Ming, who scored 13 points, left with an elbow injury in the first quarter but was treated and returned to the game.

Each team has one preseason game remaining. Houston hosts Denver on Thursday and San Antonio entertains New Orleans on Friday.

Nice to know you can always count on some things, like a Spurs-Rockets uglyfest.

I see Rasho was really hitting the boards again.

If Rasho hurt Yao I am going to be one pissed off fantasy basketball manager.

He hurt his shoulder. Yao returned to the game though.

Parker's assist-to-turnover ratio was a bit...shall we say...askew. Must have had contract musings on his mind.

Wilks may be a nice safety valve for Sick-Bay(no) Udrih.

Rasho beat up on Yao. First, he hurt Yao's elbow. Kind of a hyper-extension as they were back to back under the basket and jostling for position, arms out. Yao sat on floor bent over, really in pain. Beno ran out and told him to get wide ass off the floor and get back in game.

The second time Yao tangled with Rasho, Yao hit the floor hard and sat there a while as everybody else went up the other end of the court. This Beno went out and actually kicked Yao in the butt. Beno's one hardass mofo.

Let all ye be warned for this day foward, Rasho Nesterozilla awakens from the deep.

I think all the talk of the Rockets being NBA CHampion contenders can be put to rest.

Juwan Howard instead of Maurice Taylor???
