I was watching some of this pregame stuff here on SC, and all anyone is talking about is the Hurricane Katrina side story. I haven't even heard one person analyzing the matchups in the game.

Atlanta has to be the team to come into a wrecked society and attempt to further tear the people apart by beating their team at home. Football's equivalent to the devil's advocate. That's gotta be harsh. Very well may be the thing that helps NO over the hump in this game. Sort of like the game UT lost to aTm after the bonfire accident killed several people.

I really don't think that the Katrina aspect will affect ATL at all, except for the fact that they probably won't be talking smack to the crowd like all away teams do. Other than that, I'm certain they'll be ready to keep the top spot in NFC South

Hopefully the emotion translates well for the SAINTS on the field, cuz they gave the dirty birds hell in the DOME here in SA last year.
