Terrell Davis was on the cover of NFL Gameday in 99 and tore his ACL that year too.

I think people are forgetting about the Campbell's Chunky Soup curse (albeit not as powerful).

Terrell Davis, Donovan McNabb, Kurt Warner, Michael Strahan, Brian Urlacher, Ben Roethlisberger (he was scheduled to shoot the commercial the day after his motorcycle accident), and one could argue, the entire Pittsburgh Steelers (new commercials + 9-0 shutout + Bengals loss = cursed).

don't forget garrison hearst and dorsey levens.

1. hearst was the first on the cover of 99' and twisted his ankle the first play of the first game

2. dorsey levens took over the cover after sanders in 2000 and was cut by the packers in 2001

...so thats two more. and while the curse seems absurd and i don't believe in that kind of stuff, it keeps happening. there is no way, if i were in the nfl, that i would agree to be on the cover...at this point.

So ya see what happened here is.. Wh-Wh-When I release my game I put people on the cover a-a-and it seems like whenever I put someone on that cover BOOM! They get hurt.. and when you get hurt you cant play.. because because it hurts! And you cant play wh wh wh when that happens.

Well, they usually put exciting players on the cover, and exciting players are more likely to get hurt.

How about the NBA Live curse? Oh, yeah...Wade won it all last year.
