DALLAS (AP) -- Yes, somebody took the bait. Dallas police say one of their "bait" cars -- which are outfitted with electronic tracking devices -- has been stolen.
The vehicles are meant to attract auto thieves, who can then be tracked via high-tech systems installed on the cars.
Authorities believe there's a glitch in the tracking system of this particular vehicle and that's why they can't locate it.
Police aren't saying where the bait car had been, or details on the make or model. The car turned up missing over the weekend.
