Does it never bother the Democrats that al Qaeda's public statements more and more sound like Democratic talking points while al Qaeda's private correspondence more and more reflects what Republicans are saying about them?

I don't know if US forces left this after a raid or the Iraqis had a color printer and a copy of Dogma to get caps from, but it looks like good policy for either side really.

So, the enemy in this "war of ideas" gets to fight by making some piece of crap video on a desert mountain?!! And we should alter, or make, policy based on this? Don't we just have to send Bush to the top of a mountain somewhere with a 8mm & a tripod, and tell those bastards that we found where they were keeping all the virgins....and we sent Wilt there!?

This is somewhat a war of ideas; it's also a hot, shooting, blowing things up war! AND THEY STARTED IT!!

Do you not find it somewhat disengenous for Zwahiri to be lecturing Bush about killing Americans? At all?

One thing is for sure. They certainly know how to money manage a war! We will spend trillions in a war that will end in a draw, or worse!

I didn't say it wasn't foolish and stupid.

I simply want to know how conservatives are going to fight a war of ideas with only military solutions. (hint: it is the opposite of well)
