With the right minutes (playing time), OV would be the winner...he could (given his natural ability and nose for the ball) AND that would be a SERIOUS longshot, as unrealistic as it is.
My realistic pick? Adam Morrison. With a team that can go nowhere but up, a pretty big fan following already, it's a possibility. Get a few game winners on ESPN early in the season, avg 20ppg. It could definitely happen.

Adam Morrison has a fan following? I thought he was almost as loathed as a Dookie.
Now, granted, that's probably mainly because he's the Great White Hope and only slightly due to his wacky breakdown in March, and I guess there are probably some white power types in the US who would support him out of habit.
20 PPG doesn't sound unreasonable. But 25 wouldn't get him an All-Star berth as a swingman in the East.

Morrison will not avg 20 ppg. He will be closer to 10 ppg than 20 ppg.
MrChug
10-02-2006, 02:43 PM
^^^^^Geniouses, that's why it's called a longshot. :bang
And Morrison will avg far more than 10 ppg. I'll bet over 15, but IF he avgs over 20, he'll be an All Star.
