What was Minnesota, like 10.5 back in June?

What a freakin run!

Pretty pitiful the way they blew huge leads on Friday and today.

To top it off, they squandered bases loaded opportunities with less than two outs in both of those games that would have won it for them before the Royals took leads for good.

Still can't believe the choke job the Tigers pulled in the final two months. At least they stll have hope.

Horry For 3!

Thank god for the Twins' run. I couldn't stand watching them face the Yanks again. 71-33 record to end the season? God damn.

The Tigers chocked!! A 10 game lead and end up in second place. Probably the worst collapse in Detroit Tiger history. I look for the Tigers to get swept by the Yankees in 3 games.

We're still in the playoffs and that makes us the envy of the 22 teams that are not.
We lost a record tying 119 games 3 years ago (76 games under .500 as opposed to 28 over .500 this year. That Tiger team would have finished 52 games behind this years team), so overall this seasons should be viewed as a big success.

If our pitchers live up to the form they exhibited thoughout most of the season, we'll give the Yankees a run for their money.

They choked. It was embarassing to watch. They will get mauled in NY.

Good season though. Eliminate some of the free-swingers from the lineup and this team will be LEAGUES better than they were this year.
