I was catching up on this story yesterday from my hotel room around 5pm (hotel rooms are good for catching up on news)... I made an interesting observation. While the rest of the News Networks were covering this scandal, Fox News was showing the equivilent of water skiing squirrels.

Fair. Balanced. And.

Of course, that couldn't be because the other networks are covering the scandal ad nauseum while Fox is actually making the news rounds. I watched FoxNews at lunch today. They covered new developments in the scandal, some of the Amish School Shooting, the Bernanke speech, and some water skiing squirrels.

This reminds me of the smearvets adds in 2004. Fox News whored these adds non stop. I vividly remember during a 2 week span every Fox News show pimped the smearvets adds by replaying them over and over and over... I then remember that Whannity proclaimed that this add which only spent a couple of hundred thousand dollars on air time made a difference in a national election.. Then I thought with the help of Fox News they did quite well.. So Yoni I have watched when Fox News whores a stroy that paints Dems in a bad light and merely mention one that involves the GOP.. Obviously an oversight by you I'm sure

I don't know, Foley is the lead article on FoxNews.com. And, has been for a while now...

It's covered in every news cycle I've watched. I will agree with scott on this point. Whenever I've turned over to CNN or MSNBC they've been covering the Foley scandal.

Do they at least correctly identify him as a Republican?

Or how about this from Google news? I lifted it from Crooks and Liars.

Not only do they call Foley a Dem, they have Hastert as one too.

Gee, I wish conservatives could catch a break from the liberal media.

The Long Island Press is the weekly alt-paper for Nassau County - like the Current is in SA. I pick it up every time I'm in Sea Cliff for Amy Fisher's column.

Yeah, that Amy Fisher.

so once he admitted that he was gay, or into gay shit, doesnt that automatically make him a leftist secular humanist Democrat?

Well, if we didn't know it before, FOX is definitley part of this administration's apparatchik. This is illustrated by the fact that they won't only not apoligize for a mistake, they won't fucking ADMIT one.

O'Reilly is a tool, anyways. The Marine officer that wrote the "Letter from Iraq" in the eponymous thread gave him both barrels as a political talking head with no idea of what goes on in Iraq. He's also a liar in that he said in the opening weeks of the war that if WMDs were not found by November (of fucking 2003) that he was going to call out the administration on it. ::crickets::
