I really want Michigan to win it all, but Ohio State seems a step ahead. I hope I am wrong. There are gaps in our secondary and they may be expoited with Smith and Gonzales. Besides that it is at OSU. If Michigan wins that one they deserve to play for the title.

I have no problem seeing that. They are overdue for an outright national title. Something they haven't won in decades.

Well, they did get screwed in '97. Some asshole coach(Fullmer?) had them ranked 5th to allow Nebraska a split.

Nebraska actually beat the Rocky Tops in the Orange Bowl that year. I've never heard that Fulmer fucked Michigan in that fashion, but I certainly wouldn't put it beneath him.

Mich def has the toughness & has been playing like they could win it & not just get to The BCS game because they play in a weak West Coast conf like USC.
