I just got a PSP and I tried using the game sharing feature with a buddy of mine from work and it couldn't detect his PSP eventhough it was searching for it right in front of mine. Anyone know how to make this fucking feature work? I have NBA Live 2007 and he has Madden 2007 and we want to play each other but can't get the shit to work.

I had a lot of credit at Wal-Mart because me and my family returned a lot of stuff. There is no way I could pay for that shit on my own.

It says it can't detect another system. Do you have to have an available wi-fi network to get it going??

No, but did your friend have his WLAN on?

I don't know, he's pretty dumb. Does it work with every game or just games that have some sort of compatibility feature?

:lol It works with every game that has 2 player mode. When you buy a game it also says if the wireless head to head mode is available for that game. Do you have it set up to your network?

I have it set up to my home network, but the wireless network where I work isn't set up. I need to get a special username and password for that network.

The psp web site should be book marked. You can download game demos, movie trailers, and screen savers there.

I haven't had a PSP in awhile, but it could possibly be a firmware issue ...

I don't know the answer to your question, but funny story about my PSP. I spent half the night in the ER tonight, while I was waiting I was playing games on my PSP (mostly Lord of the Rings) and must have had a dozen of the staff/nurses/doctors come by to see what I was playing. They were so enthralled that I was sitting there playing games while waiting.

Yeah I have a bumper sticker that says "Vote Rick Perry -- unlike Rick Berry, he doesn't do anything underhanded".

Make sure the WLAN is on, and you have all of the updates needed. Oh, and do be high on meth. That's all I got.

It turns out the game has to have the game sharing feature, which Madden 2007 does not.

I've never played a PSP, but I'm interested in buying a handheld console. The PSP looks way better graphically, but does it have the games to compete with the Nintendo DS?

if you're a fan of mario games, new super mario bros is top notch. awesome combo of smb, smb3, super mario world. mario kart is also great and the wireless runs smooth.

In my opinion the psp is way better than the DS, unless your a big Mario fan. With the PSP you can download music store photos download movies and surf the web. Not just that but you can also watch UMDs on it. And they have not all but pretty much most of the new movies on UMD. The variety of games for PSP appeal more to adults, and the DS is more for kids.

Very bad misconception there ... the DS can do all that also. It's just more homebrew reliant, but Nintendo does have products coming out that fully allow the functionality. I prefer my DS Lite to my old PSP, it's much more portable, better battery life and a shit load more games out if you remember the whole Advanced library, along with the DS library. The touch screen does add more depth, too.

I got quite a few slow downs on my PSP, and never have had anything like that on my DS.
