I need help. Can someone provide me with some detailed instructions on how to properly upload a photo for my profile? I've tried several photos of various sizes. I've named them with either a .jpg or .gif extension but keep getting the following error message:

There has been an error in the upload. Please ensure that the file has been correctly selected and that the upload has taken place successfully.

Where's the picture you are trying to upload? On your hard drive?

Have you checked to make sure of these things?

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 500 pixels or 24.4 KB (whichever is smaller).

Are you trying to upload an avatar or a profile picture?

Your limits (since your user name isn't green -- their limits are less) are:
Avatar
160 x 80
28KB (I think)

Profile Pic
500 x 500
25KB

OK, thanks.

I just tried an avatar photo and it worked.

However, I will send a custom photo that is no more than 45 kb.
