Rip.i just watched the news this morning(evening in NY), so sad you lost a Yankee pitcher. I panicked a little bit because i have so many relatives & friends and it crashed into a building in NY. Was he at the controls at that time?

Yes he was.

And 2 other people were in the plane with him. An instructor (who also is dead)and a student (the yankess require anyone who flies to be with an instructor, despite having a liscense)according to the news.
