One "puro" Spurs fan I heard yelled, "Go back to France, Tony".

Another indication that Peter Holt can pinch pennies and still have the fans in his back pocket.

Fucking Spur fans want everyone besides Duncan to play for the minimum. Perhaps this is a result of SA being a one pro team town. I don't know. What the fuck should the Spurs wait for at this point? I don't want Tim Duncan stuck with a starting lineup including Mike Wilks and Monty Williams for the next 5 years. Sure, it would be great if we could clone a 26 year old John Stockton and pay him the minimum to start for the Spurs but that's not going to happen.

!@#$. If the Spurs lose talent because they are cheap fucks and they want to make more $ off the asinine fans who will enable them. Fuck everyone. Let's win motherfuckers.

$2 million over 6 years. That's like a tractor, a bulldozer and a couple cranes or something.

timvp,

Being in the construction field, Holt has equipment that retails, and I mean a single machine... 1 mil.+. This is ridiculous. Maybe one of the VK Knowltons or Yantis people will help everyone out and purchase one of these pieces of machinery so Holt can ante up the dough. :depressed

Thanks for an info.

So Holt just has to sell two of his big toys. Easy enough, you'd think.

Tickets, parking, concessions, sponsorships, suites, tv.............

The Spurs are probably damn near 100 million annually now.
