venue: Lewis Stadium
time: 7:00pm Eastern
line: ?

thoughts: OSU has some decent wins this year and a couple bad losses, but they are better than i thought they would be at the beginning of the year. however, if A&M avoids early trouble or mistakes they will wear out the OSU team in the second half cruising to victory. though the air attack of OSU keeps it closer...

prediction:

A&M 31
OSU 21

Not sure. atm put up 386 total yards in a frantic come-from-behind at KU. We had a WR catch 300 yards worth of passes in a 603 yard attack against them. atm allowed Cornish to run for 128 while OSU held him to 55. OSU has undoubtedly one of the top 2 or 3 offenses in the B12 while sporting one of the worst 2 or 3 defenses.

OSU has opened as a 1 point fave for the Homecoming game which is our 1st game home in 4 weeks.

...you cannot be serious? thats irrelevant. A&M almost lost to Army...and then just beat Mizzou. every game is its own entity. i realize that sometimes one must do those types of comparisons for poll purposes and national contention...but neither A&M and OSU are in those shoes, so who cares.

...I guess you completely missed the whole point of the arguement, which was to say, you can't tell anything for next week by what happened last week. Sorry, next time I will speak directly to the point.

cool, but i did ask. btw, on collegefootballnews.com it has the A&M +1.5 @ OSU line the most off for the week. and while i don't really agree with that, having OSU favored does not make any sense. i will have to bet on this one...

Means that you give the home team 3, which is saying on a neutral field atm would be a 1.5-2 pt fave. Depends on if atm can neutralize the home crowd/perceived home calls.

Under Fran, atm is 3-12 on the road (one of those wins was @ OSU). OSU is historically a much better home team than road team, having beaten uo, tek, atm, Neb, and KState all at home since 2003.

BoDog now has the line at -2.

Was announced today that our leading tackler, LB Chris Collis has suffered an ACL tear and is out for season. Might sway line later.

So does this mean that I get out of holding you to your statement that there is no way atm can beat OSU?

first off, my statement is that there is no way OSU will beat either A&M or OU. and, while that hurts your team, its nothing like losing Peterson....though i know you're joking.

....though i know you're joking.

Then why say anything?

By the way, the line is now at -2.5. I'm not sure if I like that or not.

it is OSU -3 now, this just keeps getting better. i wonder if the line can get to -3.5....that would be huge.

son of a bitch!
stupid OSU couldnt make their PAT in OT.

ugh.
with this win, it's looking better for fran to stay next year.
which sucks.
A&M is never going to be any better than a #25 team as long as "Coach" Fran is there.

wow! what a great game for the Aggs to come away with. weird that OSU seemed to play better with their backup QB and RB. i think i read something like 3 straight TDs for the QB? crazy.

...anyway, i'll take it...a win is a win is a win. all things together, A&M is 7-1 and a good tough road win. i'll be at the Baylor game this weekend in Waco, and if we can just win that one....then i think we can win 1-2 of the last 3.
