Is anybody up for it? I'm thinking either Lion & Rose at 410/Blanco or the new Boston place at 1604/281. I haven't been to Boston yet, but I hear they're a decent sports bar.

Never been to one of these get-togethers...

Guess that's what I get for lurking all of last year.

What's the new Boston place? GTG is a must for this game, I believe.

Boston's is awsome, Meg and I went a couple weeks ago, the sportsbar is VERY well done.

as far as food goes, think California Pizza Kitchen meets Pizza Hut, and a lot more menu items as well, but they specialize in Pizza.

there is also a place at Stone Oak and Huebenr called Indigo Joes, I havent been yet, but it look good here is the website (http://www.indigojoes.com/)

So Boston's is a restaurant and sportsbar? Is there big screen TV's?

there are 3 LCD tvs (42 inch, I believe) flush-mounted above the bar with standard TVs flanking the sides.

there is an L E D board above the 3 LCDs that give real time stats

I think there are other TVs in the bar as well, also the bar is partitioned from the restaraunt.

sounds oxymoronish ...you mean like pizza hut pizza... but with a bunch of crazy toppings?

Someone suggested somewhere else to me -- a sports bar that we could have private room with a HD projector and it's own 50" flat screen. So let me check it out and let everyone know in the next couple days.
