I know it's not nba related, but they have done the draw for the 2007 eurobasket that will happen in Spain the 3-16 september 2007.

The 3 best teams per group are qualified for the second stage.
2 new groups of 6 teams are created for the second stage (one with 3 teams of group A and with 3 teams of group B, the other with group C and D).
4 best teams of each group are qualified for quarter final (single game).
This event will determine who will play for the olympics :
- Spain is qualified because they have won in Japan.
- The 2 best teams of this euro (excluding Spain) will be qualified for the olympics.
- the 4 next teams (excluding Spain) will be qualified for a pre-olympic tournament that will happen in July 2008. It will be a tournament with 12 teams and the 3 best will be qualified for the olympics.
