The luck of the Irish strikes again. They will lose to USC, which will hopefully take them out of BCS contention.

That, or poor UCLA tackling. It was an extraordinary drive; Quinn bought time with his feet and made the right throws and Samardzija's run showed great strength.

they would still have a pretty good chance with 2 losses.

ucla had a good shot, but couldn't pull it out. i don't know who i hate more right now.

Texas better be ahead of Notre Dame in the BCS after they barely beat UCLA.

Because texas didn't just barely beat Nebraska...

ND didn't get lucky so much as UCLA choked. I knew they were going to lose when they ran 3 times and punted there at the end. Play to win. Not to not lose.

Um, hey genius, Nebraska is ranked in the top 25, will most likely win the Big 12 North and the game was played in the snow in Lincoln...UCLA is not ranked in the top 25, will not win conference or come close and the game was played at Notre Dame.

Nebrasks is ranked in the top 25 only because of their history, and the fact that they haven't really played anyone.

It's sort of like ND being top 10 to start the season when they didn't beat anyone with a winning record last year.

Common sense isn't so common.
These are valid points that I guess are too obvious that not everyone can see them in their own fantasy world.
Oh well, besides UT Neb is the only team in the Big 12 this yr.
