Does anyone have access to the preseason record of previous Spurs Champ years 99 03 05? For that matter all years.
Ditto on the eventual NBA Champs. What is pattern -if any- of preseason record to Championship.
Maybe you Comic Book Store Guys could spend time finding this?

I don't know where that stat might be but just think, the Spurs won only 2 of 9 pre-season game last season and they ended up with the franchise record for wins and 2nd best NBA record. Pre-season game records don't mean a thing.

Not worried at all as Spurs and a lot of other teams are not playing their starters anywhere near fulltime. I'm really hoping Butler can develope. We need another inside scoring presence.
I would like to see if the stats show the other extreme. Has the team with the best preseason record ever won the NBA title?

We don`t need to worry about preaseason games, they are not so important.

Every team had a .500 record or better except the Marketing Lakers of the Shaq Offensive Foul-A-Minute years? Do we need to win these next few? :elephant
The 72-10 Bulls went 4-4, I think that says it all, if it even needed to be asked.....

Sometimes I forget to check with The Comic Book Store Guy Thought Police.
FromWayDowntown, thanks for the stats. Imagine actually answering the threads question without CBGTP stuff. Wonder if any of the Celt and Laker teams of the 80s and the rest of the pre '95s did. I don't think Bird and McHale broke much of a sweat in PreSe but who knows. :elephant
