venue: Floyd Casey
time: 7:05pm Eastern
line: ?
thoughts: baylor moved the ball very well against t.u. and had they not turned it over 5 times along with some sloppy play the game would have been much closer. A&M got another comeback win against a tough OSU squad on the road and continues to have success on the ground. this game should be pretty close and the absence of a baylor running game helps A&M out a lot. baylor will put up some points and keep it close.
prediction:
A&M 31
baylor 27

^ This is definitely not the same Baylor team from recent seasons. I know they played us tough (game was closer than score indicated), and didn't give up at all. You sure as hell can't overlook these guys and need to come out prepared. Also, Baylor runs a lot of that spread option attack out of the shotgun formation, could present some problems for the Aggies as they had difficulty stopping Tech at times, should be a good game. Is it on tv?

Baylor, easily.
Baylor put up points vs UT's #1 D in a fluke fashion & were shut out til #2 & #3 defensive players were sprinkled in. Common sense tells us that the ag D is years behind UT's so Baylor should be able to easily score vs the ags in Wacko.
Ags struggled mightily vs the Awesome Army squad & should do the same here.
Could be a high scoring affair given the sad state of both Ds BUT, Baylor has the obviously better O.
Bears by 13+.

baylor is gonna be keyed up @ home, ags need to match that intensity. should be close.

you live in the past. currently A&M's offense is suited well for playing Baylor; chew up the clock and keep the baylor offense on the sideline. btw, baylor owned the t.u. defense trick play or not. in this game, however, A&M will win the TOP by a substantial margin and will hang on to win in a close contest. that is unless, of course, baylor turns the ball over 5 times like they did against t.u....

Yeah, Baylor owned so much they lost by how much?
BTW, every game ever played is, IN THE PAST.
Nice one.
Geez, this is getting too easy.
From a capper standpoint, I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole. That said, I'll take Baylor for the sole reason that this game isn't at Kyle Field. Baylor as of late treats Aggie weekend like the Waco Super Bowl.
I think these are two very equal teams right now. If you'd swap their schedules, Baylor would only have one or two losses and A&M would probably have four. I'm wondering a bit if the Ags are emotionally spent after two last second wins, a gut check W over Mizzou, and that heartbreaking loss to Tech in the last four weeks. Cardiac teams always seem to fuck you when you least expect it.
I'll say Baylor 34, A&M 31 for now.

^ I don't know, the ags have kind of showed me something after that loss against Tech. They could have really slid downhill after that loss at home, but they've bounced back with some tough wins, now as to the quality of those wins......debatable. But I think they've got enough in the tank to beat Baylor this weekend. I'll go with ags-31, Baylor-27.
Of course the UT fan in me wants a&m to win out the rest of the season until they play us, we need all the help we can get with the BCS!

not only have the Aggs improved, but the win over Mizzou was quality. I think Mizzou might win the north, i really do. but the comeback wins against Kansas and OSU were huge...whether those are "good" teams or not.
don't sleep on the Aggs, regardless of whether they win or lose this weekend...they will win 2 of their last 3.

For those that haven't subjected themselves to following Baylor, A&M strugled with Army, but at least they won. Baylor has played to their competition all year long, which makes missed opportunities VERY costly. If they ever get it together mentally they could be very good. It's kind of a crapshoot at this point. I'm rooting for them, but not optimistic.

Hey, who can complain about Baylor A&M being competetive THREE years in a row? I'm just happy to put 73-10 further in the rear view mirror. :)

I can't even find it on the radio in Dallas. I'm streaming it. It seems like there might be a little interest in the Texas area at least, especially since Baylor doesn't completely suck so far.

Oh well. Good job by the Ags to put the game away.
OV - WBAP 820 carries the Baylor games. Sometimes they farm them out to 1160 when there's a scheduling conflict.
Check your PM's, by the way.

KFXR 1190 carries the Aggies but their signal fades after about 7 pm at least where I live.

You should know better than I would, but WBAP hasn't carried the Baylor game the last four weeks, and they've been playing gardening and financial advice talk shows during the games. Are you positive they didn't just drop Baylor for some reason? Considering that they've stuck with them through the abysmal last few years, it doesn't make sense to drop them now.

Baylor's QB is out for the season with torn ACL.
:depressed
That sucks for him, as he was having a great season and I wanted them to beat Tech this week.

I guess thats what happens when you play a team just dying to win every game, a team that just never gives up. Ever. No matter what the score is.
