:( 35 is the one channel we don't get in San Marcos. Time to make my annual complaint/suggestion to Time Warner.

If you live in San Antonio, you do. It's a regular network channel.

Did the national coverage (TNT, ESPN etc...) dropped the Spurs games again?

If so, I wouldn't be surprised! lol

I think that channel is UHF, If you take two speaker wires and run them high on your roof, you should be able to get a signal.

Un plugg your cable use straight tv.

I know mouse is recording each game for folks who live outside the country and mailing them the games on DVD.

Wow, the WB is dead?

Not dead... they merged with UPN and the network is now called "the CW". Concurrently, Fox started another network called "MyNetworkTV" (like MySpace.com, get it?) and they recruited affiliate stations left out of The CW.

My daughter, who is a media buyer in Dallas, keeps me up-to-date on all the TV network news! She also gets to see Lost, Prison Break, etc. on DVD before it's aired, but they swear her to secrecy. I'm being serious here, no joke.

Yeah...but has anyone watched the CW channel here in SA?

The transmitter is between Austin and San Antonio and doesnt really reach SA very well.

Even on Time Warner..the station looks like you are getting a really weak signal from an antenna...because TW is picking them up off of antenna and the signal sucks.

They need to move their transmitter to the KENS tower or something since they are pretty much sister stations. I know the CW isnt a MAJOR network...but it is big enough that people should expect a decent signal from their transmitter to the area it is supposed to cover.

My only suggestion is to try digital over-the-air. If you have an HD TV with an ATSC tuner, and you put a decent antenna on it, you may be able to pick up the digital signal. If you have a decent signal of any kind, it'll be clearer than anything you've seen, even from Time Warner.

See antennaweb.org which will give you advice on how far you are from the broadcast antenna and what type of antenna you need.
