SPURS PLACE THREE ON INJURED LIST

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have
placed Linton Johnson III (sprained left ankle), Sean Marks (low back
sprain) and Romain Sato (left patella tendinitis) on the injured list.

The Spurs now have 12 players on their active roster.

Not suprising.

I forgot about LJ tres.

Too bad Marks never got a chance to show what hes got.

I think that move makes sense -- if Beno goes down early, at least they won't have to wait 5 games for Wilks to clear IR.

I'm glad they kept Sato -- I think he's got a chance to be in the Charles Smith range.

Umm.. he's really injured ... or he would be active. Pop said that was his biggest disappointment in preseason -- Marks getting injured -- because he had been playing so well in practice.

But thats a sign that he should be actvated once he's healed.

"Healed"? That's a controversial subject around here.

Romain Sato (left patella tendinitis)

All these left knee injuries...

Maybe they need to start running laps in a different direction?

Problem with Marks:

1. He plays in the summer for a national team and never attends Pete Newell's Big Man Camp.
2. Saw him play in the scrimmage at the SBC. I would put him on IR or better yet dump him.
3. Because of not being able to dump Malik's contract we are stuck with not being able to fill the bench with a quality PF.

:) AHF, haven't you ever heard of a take-off leg?

Also, did you hear about the Aggie that said "I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous"?

Trent's Assets: Hard to move him when he gets the position near the basket.........fierce rebounder......good scoring contributor.........good mid range shot.........and an underrated player.....
Fizer's Assets: Good body frame........can play with his back to the basket.......good athelticism............good scorer.....
Marks Assets: None:
On his backside a lot.......gets pushed out of the box easily......got schooled by Massenburg in camp already........doesn't have a reliable jump shot.........

I would like to sit on the pine and not even have a jersey for a season and make $619K.....where's the net worth?

Trent's Assets: Waived by the Bulls for being a fat, cancerous bitch.

Fizer's Assets: Not even signed by the Nets because his knee is fucked up. The Nets would rather start Veal than this guy.

You can make an argument for Outlaw, but not these guys.

You can make an argument for Outlaw, but not these guys.

Imagine that you have an appeal for a player that isn't even gifted with offensive skills and can be beat by Shaq in a free throw contest........ :lol

You probably think Keon Clark is worth something too.........with ostrich legs like that lets sign a deal with Manute Bol........ :lol

probably thought Anthony Carter was a shoe-in for the starting PG job last season...........:lol ..........

Sorry pal, Outlaw is going to get a job before those other two.

He's not fat, not a bitch and has two functioning knees.
