The broadcaster for the Wizards Cavs game said Parker holds the NBA record for most shots missed without making one in an opening night game, with 10...

Yeah he was 0-10 versus the Lakers I believe in his second season in the year. A couple years ago he was like 3-17 against the Kings to begin the season.
That said, hopefully he's out there. :lol

ok I will bite
when was the last time parker shot 69% in preason before playing his first game of the 82 game season
when was the last time he was 24-25 on free throws going into the first real game
that is right
he is on fire right now
I would like him to sit out just as a precation but he will be missed along because he is on fire right now and his confidence is HIGH

Parker was, indeed, 0-10 in the Spurs 02-03 opener in Los Angeles:
Spurs 87, Lakers 82 (10-29-02) (http://www.basketball-reference.com/games/boxscore.cgi?date=2002-10-29&tm1=SAS&tm2=LAL)
He was also 3-16 in the Spurs 04-05 opener at home against Sacramento:
Spurs 101, Kings 85 (11-03-04) (http://www.basketball-reference.com/games/boxscore.cgi?date=2004-11-03&tm1=SAS&tm2=SAC)
For whatever it's worth, Tony was 13-20 in last season's opener against the Nuggets:
Spurs 102, Nuggets 91 (11-1-05) (http://www.basketball-reference.com/games/boxscore.cgi?date=2005-11-01&tm1=SAS&tm2=DEN)
There is an interesting correlation in those occurences, but I can't really put my finger on what that correlation is.
