Wow, I can't wait for tonight's Spurs opener.

I can only hope that we go small against the Mavs tonight.
We were so close last year. And I think if we can continue to play their style of basketball sooner or later we will beat them.

It's just a matter of time.

I really think getting rid of Rasho and Nazr were great moves, and I know that small ball is the answer to being a contender in this league.

I know you might think that just because we won 3 championships, all of them with 2 big men playing big minutes that we shouldn't play small ball.

But I think the light clicked for Pop and the staff during the Mavs series last year, and they have found the right formula.

Yeah playing Rasho would've put em over the top.

Nazr Mohammed vs the Small ball playing Kings also worked well too............

The Spurs are, in my opinion, a better team when they stick to the "traditional" lineup with a definitive center. However, so many teams have gone small that the Spurs would be blind not to acknowledge it.

The key isn't to change to small ball, but rather, to be able to adapt to it.
