I caught this guy on Letterman the other night.

This shit was funnier when Yakoff Smirnov did it.

No, and for one reason, the same thing that hurt serenity, alot of his fans and will prob download it rather than pay for it (they're net geeks). I dont' think that people who don't know who he is will go see it, I haven't seen it targeted to anybody except those that know who he is. So 12 mil is a bet I would make.

No. I heard that they cut back on the # of screens they were going to be showing it on from roughly 2,000 to now only about 800 for the first weekend, b/c of the new Santa Clause movie, which means for it to hit 12 million, each screen would have to make 15,000 for the weekend, which is not an easy thing to do. If they had gone on with the full release, then I think it would've made it no problem.

Do you see Jim salivating over it?

No? Then you're thinking of something else.

I think it's been publicized enough to make money off of non-Ali G fans. I didn't even know he was on the Ali G show until recently.

Never mind...I had it confused with Brad Pitt's new movie, Babel.

I saw previews for Borat, it actually looks pretty funny. We were going to see it last night, but it wasn't even playing in the theatre we went to...

Impossible.

Everyone knows Airplane! was the funniest movie ever.

Except that Yakov was a real ex-pat Russian and Borat is a fake and extremely obtuse Kazakh. It's what makes all of Sasha's characters funny: they seem to be having a different conversation than the person they are talking to.

Haha, noted.

I have come to learn that betting "advice" doesn't exist....but hindsight is usually 20/20.
