The Pistons won last year, they're the champs until somebody takes their crown from them, which nobody can do until May. You guys are recent 2-time champs, I'm sure you understand the way things work.

The East, btw, is a LOT weaker than the west, but all that matters is the teams at the top. In that reguard, the Pacers and Pistons are every bit as good as the west's top 2, Minnesota and San Antonio.

On a side note, I really, REALLY want to see Manu vs Carlos Delfino. These guys are like perfect clones of each other. Watching Delfino is like watching a right-handed Ginoboli.....

On a side note, I really, REALLY want to see Manu vs Carlos Delfino. These guys are like perfect clones of each other. Watching Delfino is like watching a right-handed Ginoboli.....

You think so? They both similiar athletic talents but it seems Ginobili is the better playmaker and more creative in general. Delfino seems to be stronger with a smoother shot release. I guess their overall talent levels and aggressive approach to the game are similiar, both have nose for the ball but I don't know if I would say they are the same.

I haven't seen too much from Delfino to be honest, but he does seem to be a bit different than Manu.

Usually the beggining is very exciting, just getting started and all.

Then there are random games up until Febuary that are intesting.

Then by post-all star break it starts getting real interesting.

By late March/April you just want the PLAYOFFS to start already.

Nonetheless, the first few weeks and especially the first day of the NBA New Year is always exciting.
