Six, soon.

The good thing is, this place will be cleared out of all except for the one or two Mav fans who can actually conduct a discussion about basketball.

Although getting owned by 33 in Houston has to hurt, the Mavs will be fine. If AJ has any Larry Brown in him (by way of Pop), he's probably happy in the inside. After losing to the Spurs and then getting thrashed by the Rockets, he has that team's ear in practice now.

Their schedule is pretty tough but sooner than later, Dallas will reel off 10-12 wins in a row. They are too young and their coach is too good for them to take much of a step back from last season.

mavs losing tonight makes the spurs loss less painful.

Dammit, McGrady is on my fantasy team and 8 points was all he could muster... %$*

It appears the Mavs matchup badly against Houston if Yao is in good shape. That toe of his was slowing him down the whole season last year (I heard it was festering/rotting but that he delayed treatment as that meant he'd be out for a long time... Got a lot of respect for him after I heard that! T-Mac should learn about pain!)

This just goes to show that the spurs of 1999 & 2003 would've totally destroyed the Mavs... If Duncan plays as he should instead of fizzing out like the other day, then the spurs will have less difficulty against the mavs this year (assuming Elson/Oberto keep it up).

This is the problem with TMac...he does this a lot.

His averages will still work out to be among the best in the league(if he stays healthy) but he is definitely a hot and cold player.

To be fair...he did have some kind of injury last night...I think they said he cut his tongue.

I'll be happy if the Spurs can just avoid ever missing 16 FT's in a game again this season.

You know my local paper out here on Long Island picked the Spurs and Rockets to be in the west finals, i laughed and said to myself no way Rockets are better than the Mavs. After watching that game, if Yao can be dominant all year and Mcgrady can stay healthy they very well may be better than the Mavs.

Wonder how he did that....
