Anybody played the latest Final Fantasy title?

I thinking of buying it, but I bought Final Fantasy X-2 and it sucked ass, so I was wondering if anybody here has played it already, and can tell me wether its any good

The thing about X-2 was it really was a step out there in terms of Final Fantasy. There first sequel to a game (FFX) for one. Two, was that it was a weird system in terms of leveling your character. FFX also was a bit awkward because of the sphere grid and such, but you could get used to it, and it still was based on acquiring experience.

The only thing I have found about FFXII that people aren't that into is the battle system.

Damn. Xenosaga III is already out. LOL. I still haven't beat 2, so I can't buy 3 yet.

XII is ok in my opinion, X-2 sucked and X was excellent..

The new battle system takes some time to get used to and you use a less complex "sphere grid" style to level. Anyway I'm enjoying the game enough so far, be patient with it and I think you'll be happy.

I heard FF XII was supposed to come out a year and a half ago? It better be good for the wait in that case.

Now that I think about it, I have the following rpgs.

Final Fantasy VIII (I liked the battle system, and it had a cool weapon upgrade system I guess)
Final Fantasy IX (Just weird, but it is a fun game)
Final Fantasy X (Awesome)
Final Fantasy X-2 (Was a game built for girls)
Xenosaga : Episode 1 (Loved it...one of the best RPG's ever made)
Xenosaga : Episode 2 (Not quite on the level of X1, but it had its good points...mainly when loading, it tells you what has led up to that point, so you know where you are after not playing for 4 months like myself.)

The funny thing is that I only beat Xenosaga Ep 1.
