Based on feedback from the last game, I added Pop to those who get graded.

You are seriously too harsh on Bowen's defensive grade. Bowen came out in the second half and performed far better than the first half. He kept Lebron from getting too hot in the last part of the game, and more importantly did a decent job keeping the ball out of Lebron's hands.

They doubled LeBron in the second half and denied him the ball for a stretch.
Scroll all the way down and you'll see an ad there.

ah Adblock is keeping me from seeing it...Love me my firefox though. So I can't help you there.
I know they were doubling Lebron, but Bowen was doing a great job fronting him whenever he didn't have the ball. Plus its freaking impossible to stop these guys. I just think Bowen did a decent job. If the rest of the team had played the way they were capable of playing, Bowen had done/would have done enough to give the spurs a chance to win. That's his job. He doesn't have the ability to completely shut these guys down, just make them work every second for it.
And I remember more than one occasion where Lebron was at the wing position, Bowen was fronting him, and the guard had to swing in the ball the other direction in the second half. Bowen was successfully fronting a guy 2 + inches taller than him outside the three point line. When Lebron did manage to get the ball, Bowen made the traps and the double teams effective. Lebron saw most of his success in the second half receiving lobs or bringing the ball up himself.

I don't think Bowen is built to be able to defend a guy like Lebron. He's always had trouble defending him. It's nothing against Bowen's defensive ability, but I just think guys like Lebron, Carmelo, and even Kobe can sometimes be too big and quick for Bowen to handle one on one. Unlike guys like Rip Hamilton, Ray Allen, etc.

Fabricio Oberto
In 19 minutes, Oberto had four points and six rebounds. That was the good news. The bad news is that he sucked.
That's just funny. :lol
