his line did not block the defenders
was not his fault

that ball wasn't even close to clearing the offensive line. There is no question the kick was a line drive kick to the left. Luckily for vanderfag, the kick was blocked b/c that kick was nowhere near close to going through the goal posts.

I'm not counting anything. I just don't think the Redskins will make the playoffs. And I am not convinced the Cowboys will, either. But I definitely think we have a legitimate shot at a WC if we can find some consistency. I don't see that happening for Washington. I am a fair fan and I can be real about deficiencies on both teams.
This victory cements that you won't make the playoffs, imho. It ensures that changes that need to be made for your team to move forward will not be made, at least for another week. And eery week counts in NFL, especially in the 2nd half. I can't see Brunell leading this team to the playoffs, period. It's just my opinion and I am not trying to be a bitch about it. I don't gloat and I am not a jackass Cowboys fan like a few here are. I am just stating my opinion. I even congratulated your team, for crying out loud!

I agree with you, and I'd almost rather have them move to Campbell already and just basically mail the season in. It is such a longshot for them to make it.
HOWEVER, with that being said, they DID the longshot last year, so if I believe that a Joe Gibbs team can pull it off if anyone can. All I know is that if they win next week at Philly, and Philly has looked week - then all bets are off.

True, a win at Philly would go a long ways to helping. And I was never sold on Philly, even in first few weeks when everyone was on their jock.
But I think they should move to Campbell, too. I honestly don't think it hurts your playoff chances, making the switch isn't necessarily a season ender. An infusion of fresh blood could help. I doubt Brunell has the confidence of his tammates right now.

Not even close to one of the worst losses in Cowboys history. The '95 NFC Championship game against the Niners was much worse - the game was bigger and that Cowboys team was by far more talented than the Niners, they just started the game horribly and got in a 21-0 hole. They won the rest of the game easily, but not by enough. That's the one that I will always remember.

If the Pats would've won because of that missed FG, Adam Vinetari would be the idiot kicker of the year.

:rolleyes People were sucking the Pats dick like they are some elite team this year and today showed once again why they arent the same team as they were in the past. Their 6 wins were against shitty lottery teams. The Bills twice, Jets, Fins and the fucking vikes. The Bengals are even showing they arent that good and are average at best but they played the Colts and the Broncos and LOST em both at HOME. New England is so fucking lucky they have such a soft schedule and are in a shithole of a division. If they were in any other division in the AFC they would be in 2nd or 3rd place.
Colts offensive line was shit today with those sacks. I'm glad Colts won but they better be damn glad they were able to pick Brady 4 times or it would've been a different story.
Anyone in the San Marcos area want to throw down a GTG for the Colts/Cowboys game in two weeks? I'll buy a keg if I can get enough people.

Wow. Redskins use a timeout to set up a punt, then the ball goes right through the guy's legs. If the Cowboys don't win this one they completely fucked up.
Yup.

Where was Capt Mike last week when the Cowboys won? I can accept Redskins fans cheering and rubbing it in, especially since they have had little to cheer about this seson. But you're not even a Redskins fan, you are just a pathetic hater.

Actually my wife is a Skins fan. Last week I was celebrating my Raiders actually winning 2 in a row. I didn't watch the irving cowgirls' game, so I couldn't objectively make fun of the most overrated player in football (accoring to me) and the most overrated player in football (according to the players). Seems to me, they both drew dallas fan's ire with bonehead critical plays this week.
