Bush and company are getting a pass on letting the terrorists know how to build the bomb.
I'm not sure how this story (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/usvoteiraqrepublicans) is falling through the cracks.
As you may recall, the angry mob otherwise known as the right wing here in America called on the Bush administration to release the captured documents from Iraq. This was back at the height of the WMD argument when most of the rabble still bought into the argument that Saddam had WMDs. They were impatient with the progress of U.S. analysts being able to sort through the mountains of data in search for the smoking gun or mushroom cloud or was that just smoke coming out of Condi's ears?
Well as it turns out, there are documents that pre-date Gulf War I in which there is bascially a "How to Build a Nuke" manual. Conveniently printed in Arabic to take out the middle man, the Bushies eventually realized their error and pulled the documents off of the internets. The next step of course with this bunch is damage control, more precisely described as lying.
Condi came out citing this was evidence that Saddam wanted nukes. She of course left out that the documents were pre-Gulf War I. Is there no shame with this bunch?
They, at the prompting of their torch and pitchfork base, put said documents on the internets for all the world to see without considering there may be something there that should not be shared with all the world, especially those who wish us harm. Heckuva a job there Bushie.
