Hey not to nitpick, but Horry had a field goal in the Dallas game, off a pick and roll with Manu.

Thanks for the catch.

Perhaps I meant three-point field goal but don't remember exactly. Will fix.

You all should have something in mind. Barry scored his 3 pointers with Beno on the floor. If Tony was on the floor with Brent, then Brent would not get the ball at all.

Not all of them.

I don't see how Horry's season average can be higher than Manu, Tim, and Bruce. He should be in the same vicinity as Finley.

The players aren't compared to each other, only to themselves.

How much do you expect out of Horry early in the season? Not much.

I expected a made basket. Horry has been terrible for the most part.

He's made one. :)

I believe his rebounding has helped his score.

Horry is leading the team in rebounds per minute. On a bad rebounding team like this, that's an important stat.

And I've noted in all the grades that he needs to start hitting from the outside. But his rebounding alone has made him somewhat valuable.

So are these grades arbitrary or generated after comparinf to a statistical norm?

And the apparent love for /48 min stats in my mind is distressing: small sample sizes are not indicators of future performance.

timvp are you thinking about averages for offense and defense?

Is there a way to get to the grades from the main page of the site? I was looking for the vs. Knicks grades.
