We know that the Bush Administration is one of the most secretive Administrations in history, just look at Gonzo's testimony last week before a bi-partisan Congressional Committee as posted in this forum were he evaded question after question

We also know that they set up secret prisons around the world which are not accountable to anyone, absolutely no oversight, and prisoners are routinely torture and disappear altogether.

We know that they illegally mined the domestic phone calls and records of every American that did not get their phone service through Qwest.

We know that they lied to us about the reasons for going into an illegal war of aggression which according to a recent John Hopkins study has resulted in the deaths of 600,000 people in Iraq.

We know that they stole two presidential elections by enabled a voting system which is easily hackable and enabling corruptable Sec. of State's in Ohio and Florida to suppress the Democratic vote and make a mockery of the election system and thus our Democracy

We know that they were helping out Enron when they manufactured the fake energy crisis in California stealing billions of dollars from Cali. energy consumers and are likely somehow responsible for the year in a half we all paid in $3 per gallon gas.

We know a wide number of Republicans including Senators Ney and Delay and many yet to be tried had extensive contact and took bribes from Jack Abramoff, a criminal lobbyist who stands up for forced abortions in sweatshops.

We know they recently ended habeas corpus for aliens and citizens alike, and gave Bush the right to declare martial law and take control of any state's National Guard reserves.

We know they completely ignored all warnings of 9/11, and then did virtually nothing until their Commander in Chief finished reading My Pet Goat.

We know they completely failed New Orleans and did not get any help to the area for days.

We know they lied about the cost of the medicare bill, and tried to illegally bribe lawmakers into voting for it.

We know all this and more about the Bush Administration, and we also know that they are one of the most secretive administrations in history, then it must logically follow that there is an awful lot we likely don't know as well.

This is why the Demos must win tomorrow. We need Congressional investigations into 911 and other events since 2000, and we need to find out just what has been going on these past six years. It is time to hold the Republican Congress accountable for failing to honor their oath to protect the Constitution and check and balance the Executive branch. It's time to say to these thugs, I don't care about partisan politics anymore, if you put your political interests, or corporate and lobbyist interests over the best interest of your constituents, I want you out!

Get out and vote.

I want to see the Dems go after the Repugs for dereliction of duty in the Jan - Sep 2001 period that permitted the WTC attack and tatoo that national disaster in big letters across the forehead of the Repug party forever.

ie, I want to see a "real" 9/11 commission, deeply hostile to the WH (just as the Repugs were hostile to Clinton, but for real reasons vs WH, no spurious reasons vs Clinton), not the 9/11 commission we had that was neutered by the WH's refusal to co-operate (for obvious reasons, the Repugs KNOW they are fully 100% guilty of failing to protect America)

I think this YouTube vid sums up my feelings on the subject quite nicely.

Once again, my good friend NBADan has eloquently expressed what so many of us feel. So get out tomorrow and make a difference. Don't vote for hypocrites using a different religion other than their own to come up with a campaign slogan, someone whose primary qualification is that she is a little old lady, or political insiders who take hundreds of thousands in slush fund "donations" only to turn around and waste your tax dollars on things like toll roads and questionable coal plants.

Join me, Chris Bell, as we start a New Texas Revolution, because Texas deserves a great governor, not simply a governor with a great hairdo.

Nbadan, the non-partisan, partisan. He keeps an open mind. And has a mind like
a steel trap. He doesn't believe in America, thinks we should lose in Iraq and cut
and run. Better that than have Bush in the White House.

Would rather have Kerry or Gore as President. Kerry who voted for it before he
voted against it and Gore the inventor of the inter-net and world class scientist who
fighting for the very survival of the earth. Gore by the way better leave the
booze alone, he is beginning to look like the dimm-o-craps other savior Kennedy.

And remember the big dimm-o-crap plans. Cut-n-run and we can do better. Now
those are real plans. All Bush wants is for the U.S.A to win and help people
establish a real government instead of a dictatorship.

But the dimms know what they are doing. They have cut-n-run in the past and
it only cost the lives of about a million people, put them under the thumbs of
a regressive government or no government. Yeah, they have a real plan for
the people.
