He's not a pedophile or anything is he?Well the anti-Manny bloc is a well-known and easily identified coalition, so that's valid enough.

He's not a pedophile, just an idiot and the second-worst campaigner in the history of Virginia -- after his opponent.

How about the Gervin Jersey
My first round pick in next years draft(and it should be a high one from the looks of things)...

I'll also promise to support AJ's jersey retirement(not sure if you stand for that)

***ducks in***

I'm actually glad the Democrats got the house. In the last few years, Republicans have blurred the lines between church and state even moreso than they usually do and that is something so very Anti-American. I go to church and everything but it's weak to use the church vote the way the Republicans have gone to it recently.

They deserve to lose. And actually, the parties have gotten so close in ideology that it doesn't even really matter anymore. I used to not care about politics. Now it's 99.9% laughable to me.

Progress or anger? Perhaps a bit of both. Turnout will be up, but it still won't crack 40% which is kinda sad.

My predictions for the day: 230 House seats for the Democrats. In the Senate, I think it will be 51-49 for the Democrats. Tennessee goes to the Republicans, but they sweep Virginia, Montana, and Missouri while holding onto NJ and Maryland. I don't believe they will be in play in Arizona regardless of how much they want to dream.:D

Sure, it was a gameday prediction, but looks like a pretty good one so far eh? :)

Cheers everyone, but we still have Montana to go.

:ihitI think we're good there. The places left to come in are going Tester's way. Its close, but he should pull it out. :)

Well, my friend's BF's candidate pulled through in the Texas 85th, so she's happy as all get out.

Congrats, 'Teener and Anthony.

And you wan't to blow the place up because it didn't go your way. How backwards is that?

No, I am not mad that it didn't go my way, I am mad because a law was passed by people who don't know the law whatsoever. There is no legal, religious, or logical basis for the Amendment.

That is my problem with this issue. They are simply ignorant bigots.

Chris Matthews is awesome, as is Olberman. Best coverage by far.

Agreed.

The majority voted for Gore in 04, he lost. Using your logic, Bush shouldnt even be President.

So, when slavery was supported by the majority it was something that was good and just, and showed just how competant the citizenry was? When women weren't allowed to vote, and the ignorant majority agreed, it was good, just and correct?

Come on X-ray. You know this is not true.

The majority is completely wrong, not because they have views contrary to mine, but because the dumbasses can't even begin to argue, in a logical manner, why gay marriage should be illegal. It is NOTHING but bigotry and hate, and has no place in our society.

For this one instance I will say, with no shame, that I am 100% right, and the clear majority of Tennessee is absolutely in the wrong. I have debated this issue now with 3 family members and 4 friends who all voted yes. I conviced two that they were wrong, the others just got mad and ran off. None of them had a single reasonable argument as to why it should be illegal.

Religious reasons given, even if we accept religious laws, are bogus and wrong.

Moral reasons given are impossibly wrong as well.

The sancitity of marriage is a bullshit argument and easily shot down.

There is nothing. They stand solely on foolish pride, ignorance, and a holier-than-thou religious outlook.

This is a fact.

I have a brother and his family in Nashville and they would agree with you. But Tennessee has along way to go.

The majority of this country still has a long way to go.

I would agree with you, but it is so disheartening to talk with so many people who have such....hatred in regards to their view on this subject. To prove to them the fallacy of their views, even in a non-aggressive way, only makes them scream and run off.

It will take a looooong, looong time before this country gets its head out of its ass.

The law will be repealed. Eventually.
