Not nearly as important as Congressional races, but notworthy enough for a thread.

Bye Bye Mr. Blackwell (http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/11/07/bye-bye-mr-blackwell/)

CNN, the AP, the Cincinnati Enquirer and MSNBC have all now called it for Strickland to be new governor of Ohio (early results have Strickland ahead by more than 3-1). Say good-bye to the man who handed Bush the win in 2004.
------------

So much for all those african-americans voting Republican that Yoni was talking about.

MSNBC has Charlie Christ (R) winning Florida. Good call steering clear of the Bush Kryptonite.

In a statewide race in Texas that would pit Winston Churchill (D) vs. Ted Bundy (R), Texans would vote for Bundy because of the R.
