All I want for Christmas is a healthy Nebraska team for conference play.

I have no comment other than this:

Arkansas has a lot of talent. Doing it on the court is another thing. We'll see.

Baylor has a full roster and a complete schedule. It's been a long, shitty wait. I'm looking forward to putting Dave Bliss far in the rear view mirror.

I pick the Aggies.

Just got back from their first game and I came away impressed with their Freshman. Acie played which was good, because it looked like he would be out for awhile with that bruised tailbone. Kirk played 39 mins, so he is already in season form. JJ also started, also good news since he missed both exhibition games with tendonitis in his knee.

Brian Blackburn got to play, nice.

I am friends with him. His dad and my step-dad are Varsity Basketball coaches and friends.

P.S. He has a nice shot but I guess he isn't up to the calibur as the other players as he rarely ever plays.

Yeah, no offense but he's kind of sitting at the end of the bench right now. Heard he is a hard worker in practice though, you always need guys like that. How does he like playing for Gillispie?

The depth Coach Gillispie is building is amazing. He can just rotate Kavaliauskas, Jones, and Elonu in the post and not miss a beat. Davis also looked very good in limited minutes down low.

Methinks Elonu is going to make Sportscenter a few times this year. Tonight he dunked on two PV players and caught a guard from behind on a fast break and swatted the layup attempt to the 5th row.

Sick.

He said that Gillispie was a good coach and he has enjoyed playing and learning from him. I believe he is going to be a high school basketball coach when he gets done with A&M. So he will learn a few things from Gillispie.

He tried out for A&M just to see if he could make it and play a few games and be able to learn under a good big 12 coach. So he made the team as a walk-on. I never really figured that he would get much playing time in the games but at least he gets to play in an actual big 12 game even though its like 5 mins.

That's cool, Billy is a great one to learn from. It still amazes me what he has been able to do in his limited time at A&M, and he's just getting started.

By the way, the biggest thing I noticed about tonight...

If you pick up your dribble against us, you are fucked. Period. End of discussion. We forced 4 shot clock violations and 30 turnovers, and the majority came when guys picked up their dribble against us.

The moment a player picked up his dribble, the defender was all over him, and we denied him an easy outlet pass. PV's only 'success' in that situation was to take a timeout.
