we just bought the Canon Powershot SD700 IS digital elph. It totally rocks. In fact my daughter went back and bought another one for herself after seeing ours. We paid $349 at Camera Exchange on San Pedro. It takes amazing pictures.
6 mega pixels 4X optical zoom, optical image stabilizer I was able to scan the sale ads and find a 2GB SD disc for at Office Max last week for 34.99. They were $85-100 everywhere else. If you check the Sunday papers you can find great deals on the memory. Also the rechargeable batteries in the Canon last forever. I haven't had to charge up my battery yet and I've been taking pics like crazy for 3 weeks. With the 2 gig disk you can also take movies.

Hmm, I'd been considering the SD600.

Thanks for the review.
