The Blazers became the second team ever to win a game after trailing by 25 in the first quarter.

They were down 38-13 after 1 to NO/OKC, and came back to win 92-91.

The only other team to do that was the Lakers vs. Knicks back in the 65-66 season.

Portland and Atlanta have a good start this season, I wouldn`t be surprised if I will see them in the playoffs.

That Blazer comeback was similiar to the one they pulled at home last Saturday against the Timberwolves. Of course, that isn't as surprising since the Wolves are one of the leagues worst road teams dating back to last season.

T-Wolves were up 30-14 after one. Then, the Blazers caught up around the third quarter, kept it close, then went on a mini rally in the final couple of minutes to get the win.

I love the energy that Travis Outlaw and Martell Webster bring off the Blazer bench. That team may be young, but they are scrappers that have a promising future.

Jamaal Magloire is playing like he doesn't want to be in Portland. He'll probably be shipped before the trade deadline or the Blazers will just let him walk at the end of the season to save cap space.

I doubt it. Both teams are young, but will probably tail off a bit when they hit the proverbial wall by the all-star break.

That said, the future looks good for both teams down the road if they keep their young core together.

but he missed a key free throw late that would have sent it to overtime
