What was your favorite moment?

Does anyone remember the "bat incident" when the bat was flying around SBC at the start of one of the games and a couple ball boys had to throw a towel over it to get rid of it?

TP and Bruce were ducking, running and in general FREAKED OUT during the National Anthem because the bat was dive bombing them.

Don't know if it ever hit TV.

I don't remember what game it was, but I remember seeing Tim pick lint off of Pop's blazer during a time out!

Another one was in one of the first two games with the Grizzlies. At the end of the year they had started running that play where TP would go down to the baseline on Free Throws and try to steal a Rebound without being boxed out.

I guess teams were starting to pick up on that with tape, so a the first freethrow tony is over talking to pop and Jason Williams is sitting there right next to him.

Pop then starts talking to Jason and they are yapping it up.

While that happens Tony goes down and spots up on the baseline, the opposing coach catches on starts yelling at Jason, the shot goes up Toney gets the rebound and puts it back in.

Pop was laughing for about 30 or 45 seconds.

I wish I could remember what game it was in the playoffs, but that game Tony went off and ended up standing on the sideline with fans slapping and hugging him while he stood screaming.

My favorite single moment.

Favorite moment of last season? .04 sec of course :)

J/K. If I had to pick it'd be game 2 of the semifinals, where Parker yells at Duncan, literally jumping up and down, yelling and Tim to set up for a pick.

Wasn't that the end of the First Quarter of Game 1 of the Lakers series. I thought Tony hit a buzzer-beater to finish a strong quarter that afternoon, then went to shout at his brother.

I think so...should be that first picture I posted, IIRC.

Thanx.

"Tony went off and ended up standing on the sideline with fans slapping and hugging him while he stood screaming."

Tony hit a mid-court Hail Hary shot to end a quarter or half, and then ran towards his father. Somebody made a wallpaper, and I enhanced my copy:

When TD hit the "game winner" in game 5 of the WCSFs against LA with .4 secs left on the clock.

My glee only lasted about 5 mins though. :(

My favorite moment was when Parker hit that running floater over Shaq and made Shaq look old and dumb...I think it was game 2.

Favorite moment of last season? .04 sec of course :) I know it was a joke, and I have nothing against 1Parker1, but it simply amazes me how people still don't get it. It was NOT 0.04 seconds. It was 0.4 seconds. http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/images/smilies/smidepressed.gif

I have seen this error 1,000,000,000,000.34 times already. http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/images/smilies/smispin.gif

If it would have been 0.04 seconds, we would be the defending Champs this year. http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/images/smilies/smielephant.gif

favorite moment of the season...I have a few...not in any particular order:

- Towards the end of the season at one game they started playing Lil Flip's "Game Over" at the end of the game, and I looked down at our bench to see Bruce groovin' away all over the bench.

- Tony's buzzer beater vs the Lakers in the POs

- Manu's 33 point game on Nov.6

- Being at the last Dallas game when we didn't have Tim and all the retarded Mav fans at the SBC were thinking they were going to win, and I got to rub it in their faces when they lost.

- Tim's final shot in Game 5 vs the Lakers. I was in utter shock and just started bawling tears of joy. Yeah the "joy" part didn't last long :\ But still one of my fav moments...seeing all the guys hug Timmy and Manu just jumped on top of everyone.

jeez there are so many more good moments I can't think of them all right now lol

Watching the Pacers throttle the Spurs at conseco fieldhouse at a GTG over at Firehouse. Even though hardly anyone showed up, (and you know who you are) it was a memorable night...least for me that is. It was "revenge" for that horrible no call here a week earlier at the SBC Center with Hedo's "wing and a prayer" shot.

Manu vs The HoF 4 and kicking their butts...

Too bad he ran outta gas!

It was one of the rare games I was able to watch last year (I took leave from the office to watch it :P ) and it's still one of the most memorable matches for me.

Especially that move on which he tricked shaq into thinking he was going one way, then changed direction midstride for a lay up...

Manu has always been one my fave players, but with that move he became The Player I want to play like :)

Duncan's last shot in the SBC Center was certainly the most euphoric for me.

I guess my favorite moment from last season would be that time when Rasho dunked. :hat

NOT 0.04 seconds. It was 0.4 seconds.
Yeah, that's a common mistake. It's similar to when people say GPS System. Irritating redundancy to some people.

I've gotta go with the two mentioned above: Tony's buzzer-beater (and subsequent fan-love) and Tim's almost-game-winner. Would have been the shot of the year, if not for...

fuck. I'm still not over that shit. I really thought I was. I realized it last night when the Pistons were raising their banner. I was really happy for them (especially Larry Brown) at first, but as the banner got closer to the rafters, my smile disappeared and I screamed, "THAT'S OUR FUCKING BANNER, BITCHES!!!"

What is that taste? Oh, yeah...

...bitter.

I can't remember if it was last season or the season before last but the time Manu threw a bounce pass assist to Horry between Kobe's legs.

I'll never forget, I think @DET or @CHI, Rasho had the ball at the top of the key, facing basket. right side court was basically just Manu and defender. Manu worked his butt making couple of fakes, lost his man out on the wing, headed for the basket along the baseline, and Rasho squirted a low-pounce pass, Manu dunked it. I think it was the game where Manu basically won the game by himself in crunch time, 8 or 10 points.

Pretty sad when your favorite moment of the last season has nothing to do with your own team. Then again, I guess if your team is the Blazers, it's not really sad. It's to be expected. I mean, what else could you say? "Last year was great. Remember when they found all that weed at Damon's house? Or when our boys got busted driving home from Seattle smoking? Or that game near the end of the season that clinched our lottery pick? Or when Ruben Patterson..."

This was one of several passes Manu has made between a defender's legs during his 2 seasons with the Spurs. He also made one during the Olympics. He is truly the most amazing passer - some of his passes are in a class with Magic Johson & Pete Maravich. Unfortunately, his teammates haven't gotten used to looking for them quite yet, so they don't always end up as Assists.

Duncan’s shot over Shaquille was very impressive...

Fishers .4 shot was incredible but not unbelievable as I have seen him take hundreds of catch and shoot practice shots over the last two years...

I'm sure Shaq has seen D-Fish practice shooting, also, but that didn't stop Shaq from saying "One lucky shot deserves another". :(

Manu going for 33, 12, and 7 vs LA last November

Parker's play from early March all the way up to Game 2 of LA series.

Duncan's dunk and yell over AK47 in Utah during the Rodeo Road trip

Manu outplaying Lebron James here at home last March.

Horry owning the Kings in the 4th qtr with a clutch 3 with under a minute to go at Arco last February.

Well at least I'm not the only one that thinks that... at least with "stone hands" Hedo not on the team anymore I expect more assists from Manu. Malik also has issues holding on to awesome passes when he isn't expecting a pass (let alone the defense)....

Manu against Houston when he went to the bucket three or four times in a row making some unbelievable shots. Pop talked after the game about how fearless he was. Can't mention Duncan's shot before the .4 because I know that game still drives me crazy.
