Briefly: Center Adonal Foyle has played six minutes through six games, making his $8.1 million salary a huge financial liability with the Warriors already bordering the luxury tax. An ESPN.com report said the team is trying to buy out the remainder of Foyle's contract, though such a move would be difficult and unlikely to create sizeable salary cap relief. Foyle has three years and about $27 million left on his deal, with a $10 million team option for the 2009-10 season.

GS is loaded with young talent they're going to have to pay or lose, Ellis, Pietrus, Ike, Biendrins and they already have some heavy payroll to tote. I'd love for the Spurs to pick off Pietrus or better yet Biendrins.
