Do ALL PS2 Games Work On The PS3?

Because there are some games that were cancelled for PS3 but are on the PS2 that I want, but I'm not entirely sure. I remember reading on some websites that PS2 games will work on PS3, but I want to know if all of them work so I don't buy one and then it doesn't work and I get all pissed. The main ones I want right now are Mortal Kombat Armageddon and WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2007. If you tell me at least about those 2 then I'll be satisfied. Thanks.

Well, I'd assume since that all PS2 games are basically built the same, they should all run on the PS3.

I am pretty sure that the PS3 will be backwards compatible with PS2 games. Much like Playstation games on PS2.

It has been said that it will even be able to play PS1 games along with PS2. But the PS3 wont enhance the games.
