With these kinds of early season stats, I'm pretty sure TP will have at least one high scoring game this season to raise his career record for points in a contest (currently 38, set last season)

If you were to predict how many points Parker will put up in his best regular season game (whose highlights will undoubtedly be featured on the Spurs 06-07 championship DVD), how many would it be? I'm guessing 50-something, perhaps 53 points, including overtime, against Dallas.

He was on fire from the perimeter that day. The only way Tony is getting 50+ points is if it goes into double ovetime again, and by some miracle he hits 5 or 6 three pointers. I think his season high could be between 40 and 45.

- You can't score an infinite number of point. An asymptote exist. We can represent TP progression with a logarithmic function.
- The point/minutes evolution is the best estimation
- Tony will play 44 minutes in his best night. So it will not be at the end of regular season but somewhere between game 50 and 60 let say 55.

After 6 games this give us an expected maximum of 49 points.

Just add the "Hollinger Magic" (dispersion coefficient) to make the result fit with your expectations
