Take a look at Vince Carter's game tying 3 pointer vs Wizards tonight : bounces flaaaaat on the rim and goes in....horrible ball

Yeah, I saw that. I think if it was the other ball, it would've bounced out as a long rebound.

That wasn't the ball. The same thing will happen if you shoot with top spin and hit the dead back (arm of the rim) and that's exactly what happened with Carters shot.

Even Carter says that if that had been the old ball it wouldnt have gone in. Its mentioned twice in this article alone. It is pretty obvious that the new ball plays differently
