This hurts the Boys unbeliebably, know Carpenter will have to step up and be a contributor. Ellis says he doesnt know if the injury is career threatining but always prepares for the worse. Damn

Unless Burnett and Carpenter step up

It'll be Al Singleton probably. Shouldn't hurt us in the run and short passing game, but definitely hurts the pass rush.

He was having a great year, adapted really well, in two seasons we might lose Dat, Larry Allen, Glover and now Ellis? Sucks donkey balls

Well, I guess we know what the Cowboys will be drafting in the 1st round next year. Maybe a safety or O Line in the 2nd.

Since we drafted Bobby Carpenter to play that position last year, and have Kevin Burnett as well, we had better not use another 1st rounder on that position. One of those guys (a 1st and a 2nd rounder) better pan out.

can carpenter play that spot? would he be as effective as an olb edge rusher?

That's why we drafted him. It wasn't until Ellis made the successful transition that he was moved inside for depth.

thought so, but i wasn't sure since he is listed at ~250 lbs. i guess hawk played ilb for osu last year anyway. well, now's his chance - hope he steps up.

Watch out for Junior Glymph, guy can rush the QB like a mo fo, he should be able to give the Boys some productive downs, and a couple sacks
