For sure, I would rather start a pile of shit at QB than Brunell, which is pretty much the same thing

Gibbs mailing in the season already. All that money and Washington still can't do shit.
I guess it's like the Cowboys...at least with Brunell you know what you got...with Campbell you don't know and that at least is better than Brunell.

Yeah, I thought maybe for a second he was going to be the same guy from Jaksonville and do well, but he just always sucked really bad, except against the Boys once. At least you know Campbell has a strong arm

That just shows you the sheer magnitude of suckage being exhibited by Brunell.
Gibbs had all but promised he wasn't going to bench Brunell prior to last week.
Hell, but why should they start Campbell? They only gave up three draft picks, including a #1 pick, to move up to select him. It's not like they ever expect him to be any good or anything.
Here are a few interesting tidbits from the Post article on it:
Link (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/13/AR2006111300805.html)
For much of his two seasons here, Campbell's primary duty has been to mimic the opposing team's offense as the scout-team quarterback in practice. Barring injuries to Brunell, he does not play with the first-team offense in practice. He also is learning a new offense for the sixth time in six years.WTF? He's only been in the NFL two years. That means he changed offenses every year he was in college? Good grief.
Gibbs has said that Campbell could be an effective quarterback right now, but, as the third quarterback he has little chance to play, which is not confidence-building. NFL rules state that if a third quarterback is inserted before the fourth quarter, a team's first two quarterbacks cannot be used in the game at any position.
WTF2? I never heard of this. What an insipid rule.
Horry For 3!

Mark Brunell sucks ass. Thank god this move was made.
